The SEAMLESS MS SOCKET CNC THREAD 2"-12 MM is a mild steel seamless socket designed to connect compatible threaded GI pipe sections, particularly in submersible pump column and water-delivery installations. Its seamless construction and CNC-machined threads provide secure threaded engagement when correctly matched and assembled. This variant has a 50 MM size, 10 MM specified wall thickness and approximately 10.5 CM length.

Installation recommendations

Clean and inspect both threads, pipe or socket, carefully before assemble to ensure proper thread engagement, Tape or seal, then make up with wrenches on both parts. Support the iron pipe so the socket is never taking a bending load while the string is being lowered.

Before you buy

What does the second measurement mean — 2"-10 MM or 2"-12 MM

The first is the bore and the second is the wall thickness. Same 2" pipe size, more metal: the heavier wall is for deeper strings and harder duty, where the socket carries more hanging weight.

Why seamless rather than welded?

A welded seam is the line a socket splits along. Seamless has no such line, which is why it is the standard for pump pipe work.

Are your prices MRP or dealer rate?

Every price on this site is MRP, inclusive of tax. It is the same for everyone — there is no separate dealer login or hidden rate. For bulk quantities, send a bulk enquiry and we will quote on volume.

Why is GST 5% on some products and 18% on others?

Micro-irrigation equipment — drip and sprinkler systems — attracts 5% GST under Indian tax rules. General plastic pipe and fittings attract 18%. The rate that applies is shown on each product page rather than assumed.
