About this product

The Inline flat drip pipe Aquaflow series 16 MM-0.2 MM is an LLDPE flat drip pipe/tape with a 0.2 MM wall thickness, 16 MM diameter and integrated emitters at 40 cm spacing. It is designed for compatible drip irrigation installations where controlled water application is required along crop rows. The approximately 700-meter coil provides a long continuous lateral length for suitable field layouts.

Key features

  • Integrated inline emitters
  • LLDPE construction
  • Flat construction for convenient handling and rolling
  • Consistent emitter spacing along the lateral
  • Suitable for compatible drip irrigation applications
  • Designed for controlled water application along crop rows

Where it's used

  • Seasonal vegetables such as onion, garlic, leafy greens and beans
  • Close-spaced row crops
  • Short-duration crops
  • Fields where the irrigation layout changes between crops

Benefits

  • Controlled water delivery along crop rows
  • Long coil can reduce joins in suitable layouts
  • Flat construction helps handling and storage
  • Fixed emitter spacing
  • Fast to lay and remove for seasonal applications
  • Suitable for operation within the specified pressure range

Installation recommendations

Lay the tape with the emitter seam facing upward and remove twists before charging the line. Connect it to compatible take-off fittings and operate within the specified pressure range. Flush the lateral before closing the end. Secure the end against movement, particularly in windy conditions. Avoid sharp bends, kinks and physical damage during installation and operation.

Drip for banana: sizes, grades and the two pitfalls

Which drip laterals suit a banana crop, why the heavy wall earns its keep over a year in the ground, and the two mistakes banana buyers repeat.

Before you buy

What is the Inline flat drip pipe Aquaflow series used for?

It is designed for compatible drip irrigation systems where controlled water application is required along crop rows.

What operating pressure should be used?

The specified operating pressure is 1 to 1.5 kg/cm². The system should be operated within this range.

Is filtration required?

Appropriate filtration is recommended to reduce the risk of emitter blockage. The filtration level should be selected according to the water source, water quality and emitter requirements.

How should the flat drip pipe be installed?

Lay the lateral along the planned crop row, remove twists and kinks, connect it to a compatible take-off and flush the lateral before closing the downstream end.

How should the lateral be flushed?

Keep the downstream end open and flush the line until the discharged water is reasonably clear. Close the end only after flushing is complete.

How should the lateral length be selected?

Select the length according to the irrigation-system design, available inlet pressure, terrain and required water-distribution uniformity rather than simply using the full coil length.

How can emitter blockage be reduced?

Use appropriate filtration and periodic flushing, and maintain the irrigation system according to the water quality and operating conditions.

Can the flat drip pipe be reused?

Reuse depends on its condition after removal. Inspect for cuts, cracks, blocked emitters, stretched sections and damaged connections before reuse.

How should the pipe be stored after use?

Flush and drain it, allow it to dry where practical, roll it without sharp bends or excessive compression, and store it away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and physical damage.

What should I check if some emitters discharge less water?

Check inlet pressure, filtration, flushing, kinks, blocked emitters and the condition of the lateral. Also check whether the lateral length is appropriate for the available pressure.

Can it be used for fertigation?

Yes, compatible water-soluble fertilisers can be applied through a properly designed drip fertigation system. Fertilisers should be completely dissolved and suitable for drip irrigation.

Are your prices MRP or dealer rate?

Every price on this site is MRP, inclusive of tax. It is the same for everyone — there is no separate dealer login or hidden rate. For bulk quantities, send a bulk enquiry and we will quote on volume.

Why is GST 5% on some products and 18% on others?

Micro-irrigation equipment — drip and sprinkler systems — attracts 5% GST under Indian tax rules. General plastic pipe and fittings attract 18%. The rate that applies is shown on each product page rather than assumed.

Do I have to buy a whole box of small fittings?

No. Small drip fittings such as joiners and end caps arrive boxed — 100 to a bag, for instance — but you order in pieces and can buy a single one. The box quantity and its price are shown alongside the per-piece MRP so you can see both, and any product with a genuine minimum order states it on its page and on its data sheet.
