The LDPE LAPETA HOSE PIPE Double Layer series is a flexible, double-layer LDPE lay-flat hose designed for agricultural water transfer, temporary surface irrigation and general farm water-delivery applications. The two-layer construction provides an additional outer layer for handling and surface-abrasion protection compared with a single-layer hose. The pipe is suitable for temporary or movable water-delivery layouts where the product size, operating pressure and complete system configuration are appropriate.

Installation recommendations

Unroll the coil fully and allow the hose to relax naturally before pressurising. Lay it along the intended route and avoid sharp bends, twists and contact with sharp objects. Use compatible fittings and secure each coupling with a suitable clamp. Introduce water gradually and inspect the connections under pressure. Operate within the specified 2–4 kg/cm² pressure range. Avoid dragging the pressurised hose over rough ground. After use, shut off the water supply, drain the hose completely and roll it carefully for storage. Store away from prolonged direct sunlight, rodents and sharp objects.

What is the difference between Double Layer and standard LDPE Lapeta?

Double Layer has an additional layer intended to provide greater protection against surface abrasion. Standard LDPE Lapeta has a single-layer construction.

Are your prices MRP or dealer rate?

Why is GST 5% on some products and 18% on others?

Micro-irrigation equipment — drip and sprinkler systems — attracts 5% GST under Indian tax rules. General plastic pipe and fittings attract 18%. The rate that applies is shown on each product page rather than assumed.

Do I have to buy a whole box of small fittings?

No. Small drip fittings such as joiners and end caps arrive boxed — 100 to a bag, for instance — but you order in pieces and can buy a single one. The box quantity and its price are shown alongside the per-piece MRP so you can see both, and any product with a genuine minimum order states it on its page and on its data sheet.
