Installation recommendations

Unroll the hose and allow it to relax naturally before pressurising. Lay it along the intended route and avoid sharp bends, twists and contact with sharp objects. Use compatible fittings and secure each coupling with a suitable clamp. Introduce water gradually and inspect the connections under pressure. Operate within the specified 2–4 kg/cm² pressure range. Avoid unnecessary dragging over rough or abrasive surfaces. After use, shut off the water supply, drain the hose completely and roll it carefully for storage. Store away from prolonged direct sunlight, rodents and sharp objects.

What is the difference between Matty and standard LDPE Lapeta?

They are different product constructions within the LDPE Lapeta range. Selection should be based on the specific size, length, thickness, pressure and application requirements.

What is the difference between Matty and Double Layer LDPE Lapeta?

The Double Layer variant uses a two-layer construction, while Matty is the specified Matty LDPE construction. Select according to the required handling, abrasion conditions, pressure and application.

Are your prices MRP or dealer rate?

Why is GST 5% on some products and 18% on others?

Micro-irrigation equipment — drip and sprinkler systems — attracts 5% GST under Indian tax rules. General plastic pipe and fittings attract 18%. The rate that applies is shown on each product page rather than assumed.

Do I have to buy a whole box of small fittings?

No. Small drip fittings such as joiners and end caps arrive boxed — 100 to a bag, for instance — but you order in pieces and can buy a single one. The box quantity and its price are shown alongside the per-piece MRP so you can see both, and any product with a genuine minimum order states it on its page and on its data sheet.
